Dental Rescue was founded in 2005 by Lana Yeaman and Robin Stout, in response to a need from the Ottawa dental community for personalized and progressive staffing services.

Lana is a certified dental assistant with ten years experience in the dental field in Ottawa, as well as two years in Toronto. Her specialty within her career and personal life is quality care. Whether she is helping her patients feel as comfortable as possible, making sure her children's preschool has extra help or ensuring that her Dental Rescue clients have a temp for the next day, she goes out of her way to make sure everyone is well cared for.

Robin has twenty years experience in the dental field--first as a dental assistant and receptionist, and then as a dental hygienist. She has had the wonderful opportunity to live in Canada's arctic, where she was introduced to alternative practice settings. When she came back to Ottawa she continued to seek out alternative settings for dental hygiene. She began to work as a "temp" and found the experience to be very rewarding and interesting. Robin arranges job postings and does recruiting for our "temp" list. She is currently on maternity-leave.
